摘要: Abstract Pollutants emitted into the atmospheric boundary layer are subject in varying degree to chemical conversion, dry deposition and removal by precipitation. Sulphur dioxide is one well-known example. Original equations Rodhe Grandell (1972) generalized applied a study of effect actual average rainfall statistics for Western Europe on expected wet rates at Frankfurt (FRG) trajectories carrying sulphur pollutant from ring equal, imaginary, sources 900 km upwind. The results clearly indicate that it important distinguish between distinctly different probabilities rain (and hence deposition) synoptically regions. significantly those similar model which probability assumed uniform time (i.e. distinction periods ignored). solutions relatively insensitive mangitudes various parameters this leads good confidence predictions. may also be problem estimating long-term consequences releases radioactivity nuclear installations.
