摘要: Accurate parameter estimation is important for reliable rainfall-runoff modeling. Previous studies emphasize that a sufficient length of continuous events required model calibration to overcome the effect initial conditions. This paper investigates feasibility calibrating models over number limited storm flow events. For subcatchment having moderate influence from soil moisture conditions, this study shows could still be calibrated reliably set representative provided cover wide range peak flow, total runoff volume, and approach provide an alternative strategy small watershed has data but consists with magnitudes. Compared continuous-event calibration, event-based appears perform better in simulating overall shape hydrograph, time peak. However, was found more providing suggesting should used when volume main concern study.
