摘要: This is the first study concerning molecular epidemiology of group A streptococcus in Serbia and includes 145 isolates from patients with various infections during period 2001-2007. The emm types, superantigen profile susceptibility pattern were determined. Among 31 types identified, most prevalent 6, 12, 1, 58. All showed uniform antimicrobial to all tested antibiotics, exception tetracycline erythromycin (41% 0.7% resistant strains, respectively). Significant heterogeneity was found, a high frequency 6 58, as well considerable prevalence resistance, low level macrolide resistance.
