摘要: Olfactory neuroblastoma (ONB) is a rare neuronal malignancy of the olfactory mucosal. Markers used in diagnosis ONB do not distinguish from other tumors or with neuroendocrine features thus making difficult. Using modified RT-PCR technique, we show that human homologue theDrosophila achaete-scute geneHASH1 expressed 6 primary and one metastatic specimens, whereas Marker Protein (OMP) not. Previous studies have shown thatHASH1 immature neurons required for their development.OMP, whose function unknown, exclusively mature neurons. Together, these data suggest derived neuroectodermal origin. Analysis RNA expression tumor specimens an established cell line make this ideal system to study growth differentiation. Furthermore, represent first molecular genetic analysis unusual tumor.
