Reflection Coefficient Stability Criterion for Multi-Bus Multi-VSC Power Systems

摘要: This paper proposes a reflection coefficient stability criterion for multi-bus power systems with multiple voltage-source converters (VSCs). In the method, VSCs are modeled as two-port networks, which then characterized by incident and reflected waves, well their ratios, i.e. coefficients. Two superior features over impedance-based analysis provided, no need system partitioning to avoid unstable subsystems, identification of relative critically oscillating frequency at each bus system. Case studies experimental results demonstrate effectiveness approach.
