摘要: This paper is concerned with developing methods for assessing the potential impact of healthy public policies on health outcomes, particularly dental trauma. The hypothesis that in deprived areas Curitiba, Brazil, there would be a lower prevalence trauma 12-year-old schoolchildren related to different degrees implementation policies. Fourteen socio-environmental variables gathered from 29 were factor-analysed and three principal components (PCA) extracted: physical environment, social policies, cohesion. Individual clinical data collected 2,126 children schools areas. Rank correlation indicated relationship between components' scores was statistically significant. PCA explained 42% variance
