摘要: Tourette syndrome (TS) is an inherited developmental neuropsychiatric disorder characterized by vocal and motor tics. Multiple lines of neurophysiological evidence implicate dysfunction in the corticostriatal-thalamocortical circuits etiology TS. We recently identified rare sequence variants Slit Trk-like family member 1 (SLITRK1) gene associated with SLITRK1, a single-pass transmembrane protein, displays similarities to SLIT secreted ligands, which have roles axonal repulsion dendritic patterning, but its function expression remain largely unknown. Here we provide that SLITRK1 has developmentally regulated pattern projection neurons circuits. further enriched somatodendritic compartment cytoplasmic vesicles cortical pyramidal mouse, monkey, human brain, observations suggestive evolutionarily conserved mammals. transiently expressed striosomal/patch mammalian striatum moreover direct output pathway; adult striatal confined cholinergic interneurons. These analyses demonstrate dynamic specifically most commonly implicated TS related disorders, suggesting contributes development
