摘要: A new methodology to develop variable gain amplifiers is developed. The based on a feedback loop generate the exponential characteristic, which required for VGA circuits. proposed idea very suitable applications that require low power consumption, and as an application, current mode amplifier will be shown. adapted via signal ranges from −7.5 μA p6.5 μA. Pspice simulations Mietec 0.5 μm CMOS technology show can varied over range of 29.5 dB, with bandwidth 3 MHz at maximum value. circuit operates between ±1.5 V consumes average amount less than 495 μW.
