摘要: A pacemaker mediated tachycardia (PMT) is detected by circuitry within an implantable pacemaker. The PMT first detecting a condition that includes prescribed number of consecutive cardiac cycles having rate faster than rate. Each cycle the natural atrial event, i.e., P-wave, and paced ventricular V-pulse generated After such cycles, e.g., two to ten, P-V delay in single modified amount, 50 milliseconds. time interval V-P associated with at least one preceding then compared immediately following delay. Only if difference between intervals thus measured less second 25 milliseconds, indicated. If indicated, termination regimen, extending PVARP, automatically invoked for as or cycles.
