摘要: A course was designed for medical students in which literature and writing exercises were used to promote reflection on cross-cultural patient encounters. Students encouraged consider Kleinman’s principles of open-ended questioning as the basis enhancing these conversations prompted develop skills close reading texts, specifically recognition reader’s response narrative, understanding point view, impulse create story, or plot.
