Synthesis and luminescence properties of Eu3+-doped KLa(MoO4)2 red-emitting phosphor

摘要: Abstract Eu 3+ -doped KLa(MoO 4 ) 2 phosphors were synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis demonstrated that the as-prepared products pure monoclinic phase of . Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) images indicated morphology prepared evolved from uniform spherical-like to irregular elliposid-like with increase concentration. The photoluminescence (PL) spectra displayed show strong red light around 618 nm, attributed 5 D 0  →  7 F transition ion under 465 nm excitation, and optimal doping concentration was about 15 mol.% based on dependent spectra. According Dexter’s theory electric dipole–dipole interaction (D–D) is main mechanism for energy transfer between ions. CIE chromaticity ( x , y (0.65, 0.35) it close standard NTSC. Therefore, could be used as white light-emitting diodes.
