摘要: Directional samples were taken to study rock magnetism and palaeomagnetic records from the Dongsheng profile, which is 5 m thick on northwest edge of Bose Basin. Mineralogy typical indicate that coarse granular titanomagnetite, fine-grained hematite, superparamagnetic maghemite formed by pedogenesis are in sediment, has undergone many transformative processes during different stages pedogenesis. Parallel for thermal demagnetization (TH) (0 680°C) alternating field (AF) 80 mT) respectively. Experimental results these two kinds illustrate there or more magnetic components samples. Intensity NRM decreases almost 60% 90% rapidly when temperature ranges 100°C 350°C, with a steady component. It impossible analyze at high because those fluctuate widely higher than 400°C. Steady 350°C remanence was mainly carried hematite pedogenesis, reflecting change geomagnetic while magnetite being oxidized into chemical weathering after deposition. The formative age sediments cannot be obtained methods this profile.
