摘要: The scientific consensus model USEtox® is recommended by the European Commission as reference to characterize life cycle chemical emissions in terms of their potential human toxicity and freshwater aquatic ecotoxicity impacts context International Reference Life Cycle Data System (ILCD) Handbook Environmental Footprint pilot phase looking at products (PEF) organisations (OEF). Consequently, this has been systematically used within PEF/OEF 25 EU industry sectors, which manufacture a wide variety consumer products. This testing raised some questions regarding derivation data for chemical-specific effect factor USEtox®. For calculating impacts, bases on chronic hazard concentration (HC50) value calculated arithmetic mean all logarithmized geometric means species-specific lethal (or effect) concentrations (L(E)C50). We investigated dependency selection ecotoxicological source toxicological endpoints, we found that both influence ranking chemicals may hence conclusions study. furthermore compared average measure other types indicators like lowest species EC50 or NOEC, frequently regulatory risk assessment, demonstrated how they also chemicals. acknowledge these represent different aspects chemical's discuss pros cons comparative assessment performed LCA particular context. article protected copyright.
