摘要: Optical limiting properties of natural carbon nanoparticles (Shungite carbon) and fullerene aggregates in aqueous dispersions were for the first time studied juxtaposed. For picosecond laser pulses both exhibited comparable optical property, apparently due to nonlinear absorption (mainly TPA). In domain nanosecond pulses, scattering NLS is thought be main mechanism under study. Shungite dispersion showed stronger (being similar CBS) visible IR, which we ascribe its structure more favorable thermal relaxation processes responsible mechanism.
