摘要: Nanosecond pulsed discharges in a helium-adamantane mixture at atmospheric pressure were used for the synthesis of carbon nanomaterials, using smallest diamondoid, adamantane, as precursor. The generated point-to-plane electrode with gap distance 1–2 mm, room temperature, 373 and 473 K. Scanning electron microscopy electrodes showed formation carbonaceous deposits different morphologies, while micro-Raman spectra covering contained features characteristic structures varying order. To study effect temperature conditions on plasma characteristics, time-resolved optical emission spectroscopy measurements carried out 456 that afterglow has duration about several microseconds, whereas K, decay is order only 1 \({\mu }\) s. This may be an indication nanomaterials are predominantly formed nanosecond discharge, presence hydrogen radicals facilitating materials.
