摘要: The predatory flower bug Orius similis Zheng (Heteroptera, Anthocoridae) which originated in China is a polyphagous predator that feeds on wide range of arthropod pests such as aphids, thrips and spider mites. However, sufficient information about the biological parameters O. with different aphid species prey still lacking literature. Therefore, present work, development, mortality, longevity reproduction were studied laboratory Aphis fabae (Scopoli), gossypii (Glover), Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris), Myzus persicae (Sulzer) pomi (De Geer) prey. Prey species, their (prey’s) host plants age females had influenced duration embryonic development similis. Nymphal developmental varied significantly according to plant. mean total nymphal both sexes was shorter when feeding A [14.0 (♀♀) 14.4 (♂♂) days] than other Total mortality during also affected by plant species. able develop reach adult stage. sex longevity, longest unmated Pre-oviposition oviposition period depending Adult started 4–6 days after emergence, fecundity highest 161.3 eggs/♀. ability this oviposit discussed relation its practical use for control aphids protected cultivation.
