摘要: The era of high-throughput sequencing has made it relatively simple to sequence genomes and transcriptomes individuals from many species. In order analyze the resulting data, high-quality reference genome assemblies are required. However, this is still a major challenge, domesticated animal need be sequenced deeper in produce assemblies. meanwhile, ironically, extent which RNAseq other next-generation data produced frequently far exceeds that genomic sequence. Furthermore, basic comparative analysis often affected by lack Herein, we quantify quality 20 animals related species assessing range measurable parameters, show there positive correlation between fraction mappable reads assembly quality.
