摘要: Abstract The composition of large mammal fauna from the Imanay Cave in Southern Urals (53°02' N, 56°26' E) is described present study. paper aims to provide an preliminary description remains order establish their taxonomic status, geological age and detect factors that led accumulation bone cave. An analysis species vertebrate fauna, archaeological finds radiocarbon dates has shown fossils spanned whole period Late Pleistocene Holocene. Remains small cave bear (Ursus “savini”) lion (Panthera ex gr. fossilis-spelaea) are prevalent groups: 9414 (93%) 536 (5%) specimens, respectively. only site world where mass assemblages two terrestrial Carnivora - – were found simultaneously. skeletal samples for both was sex distributions determined. Though Mousterian stone tools cave, no trace hunt bears lions by humans detected. during which took place can be broadly determined as first half (MIS5–3).
