Using the internet in networking of synchronized phasor measurement units

摘要: Abstract This paper describes the design and implementation of an experimental phasor measurement unit (PMU) network. The PMUs synchronically measures current voltage phasors at key system buses in real time. They are synchronised using time transmission from Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites. measurements transmitted either via dedicated links between specified sites, or over a switched link that is established for purpose communication. At communication functional level, we implemented TCP/IP protocols as flexible way accessing controlling PMUs. Use Internet technology client–server concept gives ability to add any number network give access users location.
