摘要: Phasor Data Concentrators (PDCs) are employed to aggregate data frames from multiple Measurement Units (PMUs) with the same time-stamp into packets. This function is an essential step in utilization of PMU Wide-Area Monitoring and Control (WAMC) system. facilitated by assigning a fixed heuristically decided wait time PDC buffer. The processed packets sent WAMC applications or similarly PDCs at higher hierarchies system when either buffer full its has passed. In this paper, two methods configure adaptive based on recent traffic delay patterns proposed. purpose reduce frequency performing compensations wide-area damping control With place, controller only switches gain once every five seconds, given studied scenarios, instead current practice which requires be adapted per frame basis, e.g., 50 60 times second. proposed offer perspective efficiently utilize supporting Information Communication Technology infrastructure simplify design implementation
