Toward a New Critical Theory with a Cosmopolitan Intent

摘要: In this article I want to outline an argument for a New Critical Theory with cosmopolitan intent. Its main purpose is undermine one of the most powerful beliefs our time concerning society and politics. This belief notion that “modern society” politics” are be understood as politics organized around nation-state, equating national imagination society. There two aspects body beliefs: what call “national perspective” (or gaze”) social actors, “methodological nationalism” scientific observers.
