摘要: A process for the recovery of sulphur trioxide, solutions sulphuric acid, or organic derivatives thereof, using compounds and/or supercritical fluids, and catalyst. The comprises steps passing a mixture SO2 an oxygen-containing gas over activated carbon catalyst at temperature least 15 °C preferably pressure 1-200 atmospheres, stripping with either (i) liquid compound selected from group consisting ketones, ethers, decalin, tetrahydrofurans, sulpholanes, glymes formamides which is non-reactive trioxide (ii) capable forming sulphates sulphonates by reaction acid. may be used to obtain sulphonates.
