摘要: Gene duplications are regarded as one of the central mechanisms for origin new genes. Recent studies in plant secondary metabolism have provided several examples genes that originated by duplication with successive diversification. In this review, gene explained and models discussed suggest way duplicates develop into functions. Signatures diversification processes using biosynthesis benzoxazinones pyrrolizidine alkaloids examples.
