摘要: Post-translational modifications (PTMs) allot versatility to the biological functions of highly conserved proteins. Recently, non-histone proteins such as methylation, acetylation, phosphorylation, glycosylation, ubiquitination, and many more have been linked regulation pivotal pathways related cellular response stability. Due roles these dynamic assume, their dysregulation has associated with cancer other important diseases inflammatory disorders neurodegenerative diseases. For this reason, we present a review perspective on post-translational proteins, emphasis in small molecule inhibitors developed target PTM writers.
