摘要: In order to determine the relative digestibilities of nitrogen and amino acids in foodstuffs for pigs poultry, effects manufacturing methods, equal quantities soya-bean meal, sunflower meals [hulled (sunflower meal 1) dehulled 2)], meat [made with (meat 1), without 2), blood added at 250 g/kg tissue (wet weights)] rapeseed [seeds heated 80°C (rapeseed or 100°C 2)] were mixed protein-free ingredients. The diets given five growing ileo-rectal anastomoses, and, by crop-intubation, 12 caecectomized intact cocks. Excreta collected over 48-h periods. Endogenous excretion was estimated giving diets. order, 1, 2, true were: pigs, nitrogen, 0·81, 0·80, 0·79, 0·64, 0·73, 0·70 (s.e.d. 0·030), lysine, 0·84, 0·83, 0·65, 0·76, 0·72 0·032); birds, 0·92, 0·91, 0·66, 0·78, 0·74, 0·75 0·018), lysine 0·93, 0·62, 0·70, 0·020); values similar those birds soya-bean, meals, but lesser 1 2; solubilities pepsin 0·96, 0·89, 0·87, 0·87. Two hundred eighty (initial live weights 10 kg) used compare growth response free that 2. Lysine availabilities, assessed analyses regressions live-weight gain against intake 0·82 (s.e. 0·12) 0·18) Amino acid not influenced dehulling; lower, unaffected differences heating severity; reduced addition. Values differed between there consistency extent which each species discriminated some foodstuffs. test insensitive. large standard errors associated availability prevented meaningful comparisons digestibility values.
