摘要: Abstract Combinatorial peptide ligand libraries (CPLLs) have been adopted for investigating the proteome of a popular aperitif in Northern Italy, called “Amaro Branzi”, stated to be an infusion secret herbal mixture, which some ingredients are declared on label, namely Angelica officinalis , Gentiana lutea and orange peel, sweetened by final addition honey. In order assess genuineness this commercial liqueur, we prepared extracts three vegetable ingredients, assessed their proteomes, compared them one found aperitif. The amaro's was identified via prior capture with CPLLs at two different pH values (2.2 4.8). Via mass spectrometry analysis recovered fractions, after elution captured populations 4% boiling SDS, could confirm presence following: six proteins originating from honey, 11 peels, 29 G. 46 A. (including shared species), plus 33 species not attributed other due paucity genomic data plant proteins, total 93 unique gene products (merging proteins). This fully confirmed product. Considering that most these present trace amounts, undetectable conventional techniques, CPLL methodology, its ability enhance signal components up 3 4 orders magnitude, represent powerful tool natural origin beverages protect consumers adulterated products.
