摘要: It has long been recognised that given the high prevalence and considerable impact of allergic disease globally, there needs to be a focus on appropriate training for clinical professionals. The health-economic consequences are significant, with both direct healthcare costs (doctor, nurse dietitian consultations, hospital admissions prescribed medications) indirect (lost school work time, reduced productivity over-the-counter medications). There is also well-recognised impairment quality life, less tangible including anxiety, distress, discomfort, disability and, occasionally, death. To help mitigate these effects, need upskill professional workforce at all levels, equip those trained skills become future healthare trainers. Upskilling from grass-roots undergraduate study in Medical, Nursing Allied Health Professionals (AHP) through entirety senior consultant levels could have major beneficial patient their families, lead reduction emergency use service, increase economic productivity.
