Structural studies of pulsed-laser deposited Ba4Fe4Ti3O16 oxide films

摘要: For this paper the pulsed laser deposition on single-crystal MgO substrates of Ba 4 Fe Ti 3 O 16 target was studied by transmission electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction. The initial stage resulted in formation perovskite Ba(Fe, Ti)O phase an epitaxial, cube-on-cube orientation relationship with a substrate. Further growth pseudo-cubic interrupted oriented grains disordered structure. This structure had mixture lamellae cubic hexagonal phases. No (E) observed. Formation explained higher stability where accommodation 3+ occurred twinning plane. development V-shape morphology limited number orientations D were faceting columnar phase.
