A volumetric and NMR study of cyclodextrin-inhalation anesthetic complexes in aqueous solutions

摘要: The apparent molar volumes (Vϕ) of two anesthetics (halothane and forane) have been determined in water binary solvent (H2O + cyclodextrin) systems at 25 °C. results show that the magnitudes Vϕ are greater ternary solutions than aqueous systems. infinite dilution (Vϕo) halothane observed to depend on following factors: (i) magnitude binding constant (K1:1), (ii) lipophilicity anesthetic, (iii) mole ratio host/halothane system, (iv) topology (i.e., facial vs. inclusion) host/guest complex. volumetric properties analyzed terms complexed uncomplexed species by application Young’s rule. formation 1:1 CD–halothane complexes was successfully modeled using a two-state model. affinity various cyclodextrins toward is listed descending order as follows: DM-β-CD > HP-β-CD β-CD α-CD ...
