摘要: Abstract Two physical mechanisms normally prevent the positive active material in a lead/acid battery from reacting. One of these is change pl when conductive converted to nonconductive lead sulfate. The other mechanism electrolyte diffusion. This paper presents model that combines effect both on discharge capacity for constant current discharge. characterizes diffusion cell with two equations. A finite difference equation process between plates, and McLaurin series approximate inside plate. stored plate, before begins, also contributes cell's included model. critical volume fraction conductivity material. sharp decrease occurs amount material, has reacted reaches this fraction. computer program models into one comprehensive simulated data are compared experimental previously reported [1].
