摘要: A precursor (pS) to the small subunit (S) of ribulose1-,5-bisphosphate carboxylase is major product cell-free protein synthesis directed by poly(A) containing RNA from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. We present sequence data for in vitro-synthesized pS, S that generated pS posttranslational incubation with a cell extract, and vitro-synthesized, mature S. show contains an NH2-terminal extension 44 amino acid residues removed cleavage at correct site when converted endoprotease extract.
