摘要: Jatropha curcas L. (jatropha) is an undomesticated plant that has recently received great attention for its utilization in biofuel production, rehabilitation of wasteland, and rural development. Knowledge genetic diversity marker-trait associations urgently needed the design breeding strategies. The main goal this study was to assess structure jatropha germplasm with co-dominant markers (Simple Sequence Repeats (SSR) Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) a diverse, worldwide, panel 70 accessions. We found high level homozygosis does not correspond purely outcrossing mating system assumed be present jatropha. hypothesize prevalent comprise self-fertilization rate low. Genetic accessions from Central America Mexico higher than accession Africa, Asia, South America. identified makers associated presence phorbol esters. think molecular will significantly accelerate development improved cultivars.
