摘要: We present a new invertebrate model for the study of epithelial sodium transport in tight epithelia, earthworm integument. Dissected segments integument were mounted modified Ussing chambers and perfused with either pond water (PW) or ringer solution (ERS) on apical side. In order to investigate ion under near-in vivo physiological conditions, measurements performed current-clamp conditions by monitoring transepithelial potential (V T), as well resistance (R T). These recorded continuously virtual short circuit current (I SC) was calculated. The has high T=9,037±502 Ω cm2 PW, n=24, 11,055±1,320 ERS, n=32). V T −3.7±2.2 mV PW (n=24) −1.5±1.0 mV ERS (n=32), I SC −0.57±0.30 μA/cm2 −0.44±0.24 μA/cm2 (n=32). Only but not there pronounced inhibition low doses amiloride its analogues phenamil benzamil. paracellular pathway found be very high. terrestrial oligochaete Lumbricus seems especially adapted environmental because it an ultra-tight fast up- down-regulation Na+ channels.
