摘要: Infection with influenza virus involves a complex series of nuclear import and export events. Early in infection, incoming viral ribonucleoproteins (vRNPs) are imported into the nucleus. Later, transcripts exported from nucleus, newly synthesized structural proteins transported back nucleus and, finally, assembled vRNPs exported. All these steps, particular, bidirectional traffic rely on transport machinery cell, but regulated both by cellular factors. The MI protein serves as master organizer determining directionality vRNP transport.
