摘要: Power components, power factors, and pollution factor are defined according to the IEEE standard 1459-2000 based on fast Fourier transform (FFT). However, FFT in presence of nonstationary quality (PQ) disturbances results inaccurate values due its sensitivity spectral leakage problem. In this paper, a new perspective for definitions is introduced using stationary wavelet (SWT). As time-frequency transform, SWT can provide variable frequency resolution while preserving time information without as FFT. Moreover, unlike other transforms, such discrete (DWT), possesses time-invariance property that keeps characteristics throughout all decomposition levels. Results different case studies including stationary, synthetic, real PQ proves effectiveness applying over or DWT.
