摘要: Background: Health-promoting behaviors assist individuals to prevent disease, promote health, increase longevity, and enjoy a better quality of life. A number interpersonal, social, environmental factors have been shown influence health-promoting behaviors. Little empirical evidence exists about the predictors among migrant workers. Purpose: This study uses Pender's health promotion model describe identify in Nepalese workers Korea. Methods: cross-sectional research design was used. migrants who had working South Korea (n = 169) for over 6 months were surveyed between July December 2012. Self-efficacy measured using Perceived Health Competence Scale, Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile II used measure lifestyle behaviors, perceived status single-item question. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis analyze data. Results: Spiritual activity highest reported behavior, whereas physical least practiced behavior. only significant predictor Conclusions: The results this suggest that future interventions should enhance self-efficacy target populations individual Factors such as conditions, culture, economic background may affect must be considered when planning nursing interventions. Multicultural structures policies are needed reach out proactively all adult groups.
