摘要: Abstract A facile route for the production of high quality monodisperse Fe3O4/silica nanocomposite microspheres (NMs) with embedded structures has been successfully established by employing a solution-based via direct decomposition tetraethyl ortho-silicate (TEOS) in solution under presence freshly synthesized Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs). This method is based on two-step process, involving: (i) synthesis NPs coprecipitaiton Fe2+ and Fe3+ NH3·H2O at room temperature; (ii) formation NMs TEOS dispersed mechanical stirring temperature. The effects concentration pH value have investigated detail to optimize synthetic conditions. XRD, XPS, FTIR, EDS, SEM, TEM were used characterization products. It found that as typical values average diameters 0.25–4 μm obtained optimized conditions nearly monodisperse, superparamagnetic relatively saturation magnetization value, which implies potentially promising applications engineering biomedicine areas. Moreover, possible mechanism was also proposed. Meanwhile, this general approach could be extended prepare other metal oxide/silica NMs.
