摘要: Laboratory tests are run on five different cohesionless soils to determine their modulus and damping characteristics. Torsional simple shear resonant column performed by the same test apparatus in order compare results. Results indicate that interchangeable as long there isn't a significant cycles effect. Number of loading generally increases sands decreases silts. Damping with number for both silts sands. Threshold strain levels also studied agreement between predicted measured Ramberg‐Osgood parameters, taken uniform cyclic tests, applied irregular along Masing criterion. Predictions very favorably
