摘要: Herbs and spices a host of other plant derivatives used in animal feeding as feed additives are referred to phytogenic additives. This class is increasingly gaining popularity livestock production. A number studies have demonstrated antioxidative antimicrobial efficacy vitro. Methane reducing effects some herbs ruminants also been reported. Studies show that these materials improved the palatability feed.
