摘要: Pantethine is the disulfide form of pantetheine natural precursor coenzyme A and prosthetic group fatty acid synthetase. Interest in pantethine has increased recently as its lipid-lowering effects were demonstrated laboratory animals (Shi-nomiya et al. 1980; Tomikawa 1982) humans (Maggi 1982; Avogaro 1983; Gaddi 1984). Since mechanism these still unknown, we studied modifications induced by on lipid metabolism rat hepatocytes using either radioactive mevalonolactone (MVL) or acetate labeled substrate.
