摘要: Conservation and management of shark populations is increasingly becoming important in many marine regions, since there a growing body evidence showing that several species are threatened continuing to decline because unregulated fishing. Quantifying the extent sharks' decline, risk extinction, consequences for ecosystems have been challenging controversial, mostly due data limitations. In this study, more than one century multiple-sources bibliographic records on presence frequency occurrence three commercial sharks, smooth-hounds Mustelus spp., Mediterranean Sea were compiled analysed.
