摘要: Objective To assess the outcomes of a modified technique for pediatric laparoscopic pyeloplasty (LP) performed without instrument trocars. Methods A retrospective cohort study all LPs trocars was performed. Patient demographics, surgical technique, complications, and clinical were reviewed. All patients undergoing this procedure had single trocar placed to insufflate introduce laparoscope. Skin punctures used 3-mm instrumentation LP. Results Nine with 10 procedures identified. Median age 8 months old (range 3-190). weight 8.3 kg 5.9-70.5). operative time 229 minutes 145-387). additional There no open conversions. hospital stay 1 day 1-4). narcotic use 0.1 mg/kg/d intravenous morphine equivalent. intraoperative complications. follow-up 36 18-45). Follow-up renal ultrasound evaluation has demonstrated improved hydronephrosis in patients. No reoperative Subjective assessment cosmesis shown excellent outcome almost imperceptible evidence intervention. Conclusion LP can be safely effectively compromise procedure, minimal narcotics, short stay. Intermediate-term indicates encouraging results achieving scarless surgery.
