摘要: Abstract Purpose Congenital midureteric strictures (CMUS) are an uncommon cause of obstructive uropathy. There only a few case reports laparoscopic management CMUS. We present our experience with repair CMUS in 7 children. Patients and methods The records all children (n=7, 5 infants) undergoing reconstruction for were reviewed. Preoperative imaging included ultrasound (US) diuretic renography (DR) Intravenous urography or magnetic resonance was performed 3 when dilated ureter seen on the ultrasound. Retrograde pyelography 6 before definitive surgery. All underwent transperitoneal excision stricture ureteroureterostomy. Follow-up clinical examination US children, DR Results Over 3-year period, Six had antenatally diagnosed hydronephrosis, while one child presented infected nephrostomy later referred to us. diagnosis suspected preoperatively 4 children; confirmed retrograde pyelography. Laparoscopic successfully completed there no significant intraoperative postoperative complications. At median follow-up 18months, asymptomatic, (7) (5) confirming reduction hydronephrosis improved drainage. cosmetic results have been excellent. Conclusion To knowledge, this is first report can be safely even small infants, good results.
