摘要: Laparoscopic surgery is becoming widely accepted as an alternative to conventional procedures. It more and evident that laparoscopic techniques can be applied successfully pediatric patients. Advantages of these include less postoperative pain, decreased ileus, fewer pulmonary complications, shorter hospital stays. Elective splenectomy for hematologic disease or staging Hodgkin's lymphoma also appears amenable techniques. This report details 12 consecutive splenectomies performed laparoscopically since July 1993. No case required conversion laparotomy. Each was reviewed with respect operative time, estimated blood loss, identification accessory spleens, time until full oral intake, analgesia requirements, length stay. Factors contributing morbidity such wound infections were evaluated. Documentation late sequelae intestinal obstruction incisional hernias. These patients compared 20 consecutively treated who underwent open in the period immediately preceding use splenectomy. splenectomy, authors' experience, a safe has few cost effective, been well by families.
