摘要: Load growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has increased significantly due to population growth, domestic consumption, industrial and commercial development; hence, appropriate Network Expansion Planning (NEP) is desirable. This paper considers a five years' load forecast for selected area Dammam city. The exhibits substantial increase, which may violate capacity limits existing network coming years. Consequently, National Grid-SA required build new 115/13.8KV substations order account future growth. aims find optimum feeding route between location with least possible cost subjected some technical constraints. A linear programming model developed solve this optimization problem.
