摘要: The IPBES conceptual framework (CF) serves an instrumental value to translate usable knowledge into policy across spatial scales, alongside a normative function engage diverse systems, promoting inclusivity and enhancing legitimacy. It has been argued that the CF operates as boundary object, communication organisation tool for those working designed help them reach shared goals. paper focuses on this claim, exploring three core characteristics of object: interpretive flexibility, material organisational structure, recognition dissention. We suggest too much emphasis is placed within upon whilst meeting information needs work requirements all individuals, groups communities who use are overlooked. By forcing consensus, ignores critical dimensions object. argue embracing full object will enable support coproduction translation better achieving its goal providing advice.
