摘要: Poly(ADP-ribosylation) is a post-translational modification of proteins playing crucial role in DNA repair, replication, transcription and cell death. In this paper, the main features process have been reviewed, focusing on best known poly(ADP-ribose) polymerizing enzyme, PARP-1, nick-sensor protein that uses b-NAD þ to form polymers ADP-ribose. The modulation poly(ADP-ribosylation) during apoptosis possible effects its inhibition metabolism are discussed.
