摘要: This paper presents a mathematical model which predicts both the major qualitative features and, within experimental error, quantitative details of class perturbed and unperturbed large-amplitude, voluntary movements performed at intermediate speed by primates. A feature is that concise description behavioral organization movement has been formulated separate distinct from dynamics execution. Based on observations in primates, described as though goal were to make smoothest possible under circumstances, i.e., minimize accelerative transients. formalized using dynamic optimization theory determine minimizes rate change acceleration (jerk) limb. muscle mechanics, concept “virtual position” determined active states muscles rigorously defined one mechanical consequences neural commands muscles. provides insight into mechanics useful aid separation descriptions
