摘要: Esophageal cancer is a devastating diagnosis with very dire long-term survival rates. This largely due to its rather insidious progression, which leads most patients being diagnosed advanced disease. Recently, however, greater understanding of the pathogenesis esophageal malignancies has afforded surgeons and oncologists new opportunities for intervention management.
