摘要: While we know about physicians' involvement in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer, little is known others who assist men dealing with choices, once they are diagnosed early but not yet treated. This pilot study explores if use other sources support roles functions providers. We conducted separate individual interviews 21 cancer 18 persons identified by as their provider. Some reported relying on a provider, already treated for others' partner. The provided consisted informational emotional support. Men Spousal depended partner's willingness to accept and/or Due variation men's support, recommend that physicians inquire patients' interest will reveal which patients rely almost exclusively physicians, when deciding certain treatment.
